Community Service to Kemuning Village with Permikomnas

This community service activity was held by Permikomnas (Perhimpunan Mahasiswa Informatika dan Komputer Nasional) in the context of service to SVN (Smart Village National). This activity was held on 26 and 27 February 2021 in Kemuning village. In this activity, the role of students is very important, especially in the IT field. This activity itself was attended by several administrators from Permikomnas itself and various other universities with IT majors. From the Informatics and Computer Engineering Study Program itself, there were several students who took part in this community service event with the following names Paul Lestyo Adhiatma, Hera Fatmawati, Ahmad Mishbahuddin, Nathanael Junior Setiawan, and Advent Adam K.

In this activity, it was guided by Mr. Bambang as an ICT volunteer. The departure was carried out at 07.00 WIB at Campus V JPTK as a gathering point and departed for Kemuning Village, Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. Upon arrival, the activity began with an explanation of the smart village, which is a village as a pilot national smart village. In this village, there are also many MSMEs growing, with a total of 48 MSEs so far from the total target of 50 MSMEs. Various products are produced by MSMEs in the village as examples of their products, namely mushroom chips, bitter melon chips, frozen food, instant herbal medicine, ornamental plants, various processed sweet potatoes and many more.

That way, the community really relies on the MSMEs they create and depends on the newcomers who come. But unfortunately with the current pandemic conditions, the income of the MSMEs has decreased. They don’t run out of their minds trying to sell their MSME products through other media such as online shops and hope to take advantage of current technology in order to increase their income. And that’s why this community service activity was carried out as a form of developing MSMEs in the village by introducing more of their MSME products through existing media.

Various efforts have been made in this community service activity, where they are still working on it with the idea of ​​increasing their online shop on existing social media, recapitulating and providing access space on the internet using web media about MSMEs, and it can be added by making a video profile of the village. as a promotional medium. Hopefully the service activities can run smoothly and provide the desired results.
