Surakarta, June 24, 2026 — The Undergraduate Study Program in Informatics and Computer Engineering Education (PTIK) at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) held an event entitled “Joint Discussion and Exploration of Opportunities for Higher Education Tridharma Collaboration” on Wednesday (June 24, 2026). Held in the Meeting Room of Building A, UNS Pabelan Campus, Surakarta, the event served as an opportunity for academic networking as well as an initial exploration of potential collaboration between PTIK UNS lecturers and several partner higher education institutions.
The event was attended by representatives of lecturers from Politeknik Pratama Mulia, Politeknik Assalam Surakarta, Universitas Sugeng Hartono, Politeknik Nest, Universitas Sragen, and Universitas Pignatelli Triputra (UPITRA).
The event was opened by the Head of the Undergraduate PTIK Study Program, Cucuk Wawan Budiyanto, S.T., Ph.D. In his remarks, he explained that the activity was part of PTIK UNS’s efforts to expand its partnership network while creating opportunities for more intensive communication with higher education institutions in Surakarta and surrounding areas.
The meeting was conducted in a relaxed and interactive atmosphere through discussions and experience sharing among lecturers. Various potential areas of collaboration were discussed, particularly in the fields of education, research, scientific publication, and community service.
Through the forum, PTIK UNS expressed its readiness to become a partner for the participating higher education institutions in developing various Higher Education Tridharma activities. Collaboration among lecturers was expected not to stop at the discussion stage but to be followed up through joint activities that provide benefits to each participating institution.
“At PTIK, we are ready to become partners in education, research, and community service. We hope that this meeting can serve as the starting point for various concrete synergies and collaborations among lecturers and higher education institutions.”
In addition to strengthening institutional networks, the activity was also expected to open up collaboration opportunities that could support improvements in higher education performance, including the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU). Potential forms of collaboration include joint research and publications, community service activities, the exchange of experiences in educational implementation, and various other Higher Education Tridharma programs.
This joint discussion marked an initial step toward building stronger communication and partnership networks between PTIK UNS and its partner higher education institutions. In the future, the results of this exploration are expected to be developed into sustainable collaborative programs that make meaningful contributions to the advancement of higher education, particularly in the fields of information technology and computer education.
