The Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Study Program (PTIK) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) has established a collaboration with AL Qolam Junior High School Gemolong to enhance the creativity and algorithm skills of the teachers. The creative application development process was directly handled by the Information System for Sustainable Development (ISSaD) Research Group, comprising UNS lecturers Febri Liantoni, Cucuk Wawan Budiyanto, Yusfia Hafid Aristyagama, Nurcahya Pradana Taufik Prakisya, Puspanda Hatta, and Rosihan Ari Yuana. They were also assisted by UNS students Dian Fitri Utami, Dita Nofiana, and Fathiya Azwi Karimah.
The workshop for developing this application was held on July 19, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and continued on August 3, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at AL Qolam Junior High School Gemolong. The workshop resulted in an educational game designed as a learning medium to enhance students’ creativity and algorithm skills.
Mr. Abdurrahman An Najah, S.Ag., the Principal of AL Qolam Junior High School, expressed high appreciation to the community service implementation team. He also hopes that the collaboration between PTIK FKIP UNS and AL Qolam Junior High School Gemolong can continue in the future, considering the positive impact felt by both teachers and students.
